    is an active member of the Resident Doctors of Canada RDoc sitting on numerous committees and holding liaison representative positions She was the national resident representative of the Canadian Physical Health Institute and helped organize the Canadian Conference on Physician Health in 2013 She has been the national resident representative for the Canadian Medical Protective Agency CMPA since 2014 Her research interests include arrhythmias echo and cardiac MRI Outside work and study she volunteers at national and local organizations She is fluent in both Chinese and English and loves to play badminton swim snowboard and cycle Philippe Jolicoeur B Pharm MD FRCPC When syncope is not simple Daniel Ramirez MD BSc FRCPC MSc candidate Above all do no harm An unusual case of heart failure Biography Dr Philippe Jolicoeur began studying Pharmacy in Montreal in 2001 Upon completion of his B Pharm he decided to study medicine in order to fully understand and help his patients Medicine led to Internal Medicine followed by Cardiology and a fellowship in Electrophysiology In the near future he will be working at Hôpital Maisonneuve Rosemont a general teaching hospital where he will join a group of dynamic cardiologists He will bring to the table expertise in clinical arrhythmology and pacemaker implantation Biography Dr Daniel Ramirez completed his Bachelor s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa in 2007 and his medical school training at Queen s University in 2011 He subsequently returned to Ottawa where he completed his Internal Medicine residency He is currently a PGY 5 in Cardiology and is undertaking a Master s degree in Epidemiology His research interests include rhythm control strategies for atrial fibrillation percutaneous coronary therapeutics and arterial repair Robinder S Sidhu MD A case of refractory VT Storm Yining Xu MDCM FRCPC Lady Luck Biography Dr Robinder
