    Long Range Research and Development Plan Request for Information RFI Long Range Research and Development Plan LRRDP December 22 2014 CCC The U S Department of Defense is seeking information on current and emerging technologies and or projections of technology enabled concepts that could provide military advantage to the United States its partners and allies in the next decade Canadian industry academia and government comments are welcome Submissions to the RFI will aid in improving the current LRRDP to include advanced technologies identify opportunities for enduring innovation and opportunities to sustain future U S military capability advantages aid the internal analysis and prioritization of U S Department of Defense research and development investments and contribute to the overall US long term security RFI submissions should be focused on technology enabled capabilities that could be matured and available to enter formal development in the next 5 10 years offering military advantage in the 2025 to 2030 timeframe The RFI submissions should fall under the following five categories 1 Space Technology 2 Undersea Technology 3 Air Dominance and Strike Technology 4 Air and Missile Defense Technology 5 Other Technology Driven Concepts For more information regarding this subject matter please click here What

    of the Global Markets Action Plan GMAP The GMAP is the Government of Canada s pro export pro investment plan that places a special emphasis on the needs of Canadian SMEs Under GMAP all the export oriented agencies which include the Trade Commissioner Service Export Development Canada Business Development Bank of Canada and CCC have enhanced coordination aligned activities facilitated referrals and shared market intelligence and information with each other in an effort to be more effective in delivering results for our SMEs Minister Fast spoke to the various trade initiatives undertaken to support GMAP over the year including 13 trade missions to 20 different countries the opening of four new trade offices in China and the signing of the Canada EU Trade Agreement and the Canada Korea Free Trade Agreement CCC has been taking part in a series of export promotion workshops Go Global Workshops launched on November 21 in Richmond BC with a similar session in Mississauga on November 28 which included participation by all of the export agencies Martin Zablocki addressed the audience and spoke about the Corporation s commitment to supporting SMEs and highlighted the benefits that CCC can bring to business transactions with SMEs CCC
