    Buyers Exporters Home News 2013 CCC Signs MOU with the Ministry of Defense of Peru CCC Signs MOU with the Ministry of Defense of Peru May 22 2013 CCC Prime Minister Stephen Harper today announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding MOU between the Canadian Commercial Corporation CCC and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Peru which will create new opportunities for Canadian businesses in the defence and security sector Canada and Peru enjoy growing bilateral relations based on a mutual commitment to regional stability and prosperity in the Americas said the Prime Minister Today s announcement will enable Peru to acquire the equipment and expertise it needs to fulfill the country s defence and security agenda while creating opportunities for Canadian businesses The MOU between the CCC and the Peruvian Ministry of Defense aims to deepen defence and security relations between the two countries and to facilitate and improve cooperation for the purchase of services or military and defence equipment by Canadian companies to the Peruvian Ministry of Defense The agreement which takes effect immediately will remain valid for the next three years Read the full press release and the backgrounder What s happening at CCC
