    in clinical informatics He was a member of the Clinical Information System champions group at the McGill University Health Centre which is responsible for the enterprise wide deployment upgrade and maintenance of the OACIS electronic health record from Telus Health Solutions He is a co inventor along with Robyn Tamblyn PhD of the of MOXXI M edical O ffice of the XXI st century electronic prescribing solution which is used as a research platform to explore ways to optimize medication prescribing to improve the health of patients Dr Huang is a founding member of the McGill Clinical Health and Informatics Research Group and IRIS Québec Infostructure de Recherche Integré en Santé which was a CFI funded project to build a provincial clinical datawarehouse for health research He recently implemented at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal a Real Time Location System RTLS using Ultra WideBand wireless technologies to track wandering patients on the Geriatric inpatient ward to help with security and safety He is also currently involved in the implementation of a CIHR funded trial studying the effect of computer assisted medication reconciliation at discharge from hospital on the adverse events return to the Emergency Department and re admission rates
