    food Items needed for the Welcome kit are Shampoo and conditioner Bubble bath for moms kids and teens Body wash for moms kids and teens Toothbrushes and toothpaste Razors and Shaving cream Deodorant for moms and teen boys and girls Sanitary napkins Toilet paper and kleenex Clothes hangers laundry detergent fabric softener dishwashing soap and dish towels towels and facecloths all purpose cleaner coffee instant or for coffeemaker 12 laundry baskets to hold these contents We are also preparing Survival kits for the men s shelter Items needed are socks and underwear razors and shaving cream toothbrushes and toothpaste shampoo conditioner soap For more than 20 years Armagh House has provided second stage long term housing generally a year for victims of family violence Armagh offers eight self contained apartments for women and their children In addition to housing Armagh House also provides counselling education on financial matters such as budgeting referrals information and advocacy to such organizations as legal aid income assistance programs etc For more information visit http www armaghhouse ca The Wilkinson Road men s shelter is funded by the Region of Peel and managed and staffed by The Salvation Army Founded 12 years ago this shelter provides short term emergency shelter for boys and men 16 years of age and up Men are referred to the shelter by corrections officials hospitals the police and others merely walk in The WRS has 87 bedg organized into dormitories In addition to housing the shelter provides three meals a day showers and laundry facilities The shelter provides help in finding permanent stable housing and referrals and assistance with government programs employment and personal counselling etc For more information visit http www salvationarmypeel com wilkinson road shelter html NICARAUGA Glenbrook plans 3rd trip to Nicarauga Upcoming Events Latest News FUN
