    Dimes and tour the West Coast I am happy to share my experiences and photos with people who can t visit because of circumstances not of their own doing So today I share with you my trip through Stanley Park named in 1889 after Lord Stanley the then Governor General of Canada photo by DA 2014 My brother says let s rent some bikes see the park OK Says me enthusiastically picturing a nice leisurely pace along the seawall taking photos of the big trees the harbour the scenery form the various vistas Wrong He takes me up the BIGGEST HIGHEST hill in the park straight up to the sky to Prospect Point We had to walk our bikes for the most of it He used to bike it every day hairpin turns all up to the top back in his day Well I could never have done that at any age We spent 1 5 hours cycling climbing photographing resting climbing ooh ing aah ing me but mostly feeling full of gratitude for the ability to do all these activities in one of the most beautiful scenic settings in Canada So for those of you who can t see all of this for yourselves I am happy to be your eyes I cannot finish off without saying THANK YOU VIA RAIL for this amazing opportunity to share the West Coast with my East Coast family friends 2 Responses to World Polio Day Really Donna Messer says October 3 2014 at 1 46 pm Thanks for sharing the info on World Polio Day Rotary clubs around the world appreciate your help in raising awareness You are an awesome ambassador for our world wide end polio now program admin says October 3 2014 at 11 40 pm You are all doing
