    Baseline CMS Development Cascading Style Sheets Overview FAQ Glossary of Terms The Benefits of a Content Management System Home Clients Case Studies Case Studies Canadian Blast Text size Launched January 2010 www canadianblast com Description CIMA formerly CIRPA is the trade organization representing the independent sector of the Canadian music and sound recording industry and the collective voice of independent music in English speaking Canada Project Description Canadian Blast is a pilot project web portal created by NMA for CIMA with the support of the Ontario Media Development Corporation and Canadian Heritage Its purpose is to build a database of Canadian artists for presentation to the international music industry As the database of artists releases and performances grows CIMA is developing and integrating two online communities The first consists of independent business representatives of Canadian artists who are actively exporting Canadian music and the second is the international music buying community The portal will also incorporate an Eblast engine that will allow CIMA staff to manage targeted distribution lists of representatives by filtering their contact information properties The pilot project supports two international music expositions MIDEM in France and South by Southwest in the US Email a friend Print Feedback

    Mexico and the United States under the North American Agreement Free Trade Agreement NAFTA The CEC was established to address regional environmental concerns help prevent potential trade and environmental conflicts and to promote the effective enforcement of environmental law between the three countries NMA participated in an open and transparent RFP process and was selected to consult design develop and support CEC in a complete re design and re architecture of their 8 year old website Together with CEC Information Services and Communications managers NMA conducted a series of interviews with program managers Their purpose was to give each manager an opportunity to participate in the website development process The consultations were conducted as an informal S W O C analysis strengths weaknesses opportunities and challenges A summary report was prepared following the meetings and delivered to senior management There were two key outcomes from this exercise With NMA s strategic support Communication and Information Services were able to determine an approach that would fairly and accurately represent the needs of all programs on the website a consensus Each program manager and their staff felt they had a stake in the new website and a role to play going forward
