    Baseline CMS website was launched in Spring 2006 The RNAO website CMS manages a number of membership and leadership extranets project extranets and micro sites In 2007 the Registered Nurses Association received the Canadian Society of Association Executives Communication Award of Excellence for the best website of 2007 in recognition of excellence in communication NMA also created a custom online registration form for RNAO members that was integrated with RNAO

    Mexico and the United States under the North American Agreement Free Trade Agreement NAFTA The CEC was established to address regional environmental concerns help prevent potential trade and environmental conflicts and to promote the effective enforcement of environmental law between the three countries NMA participated in an open and transparent RFP process and was selected to consult design develop and support CEC in a complete re design and re architecture of their 8 year old website Together with CEC Information Services and Communications managers NMA conducted a series of interviews with program managers Their purpose was to give each manager an opportunity to participate in the website development process The consultations were conducted as an informal S W O C analysis strengths weaknesses opportunities and challenges A summary report was prepared following the meetings and delivered to senior management There were two key outcomes from this exercise With NMA s strategic support Communication and Information Services were able to determine an approach that would fairly and accurately represent the needs of all programs on the website a consensus Each program manager and their staff felt they had a stake in the new website and a role to play going forward
