    client s needs We offer and make every effort to work within the client s time requirements We offer regularly scheduled service times daily weekly bi weekly and monthly One time cleaning services are also available for those times when life gets too busy to fit in house cleaning Seasonal and special occasion cleaning is also available Home Help is available to seniors and adults with disabilities in Huron and Perth County Home Help Services include Light House Cleaning Bathrooms kitchens dusting sweeping mopping vacuuming dishes emptying garbage recycling Please note the client provides the cleaning supplies Heavy Cleaning Home Maintenance Spring and Fall cleaning windows inside curtain cleaning organizing and cleaning of cupboards and closets Yard Work Raking leaves garden clean up maintenance hedge trimming planting Client must supply equipment and or tools Seasonal House Cleaning Home Help Workers can help our clients get ready for any holiday We can help decorate prepare meals and do any last minute cleaning Our workers can also assist after the holiday to re organize and clean the client s home Laundry Laundry can be done in client s home or taken to laundry mats If the laundry is taken to the laundry mat a trip fee will apply and the client is required to supply change for the machines Laundry products must be supplied by the client Grocery Shopping Home Help Workers can help clients prepare a shopping list do the client s shopping and assist with bringing groceries into the house and putting them away A trip fee applies 3 stops per trip and clients must supply cash or gift cards to purchase the groceries Meal Preparation Home Help Workers can prepare light meals hot meals and or meals to be re heated or frozen The client must provide the required

  • Easy Ride Transportation
    number to the Easyride service will get you door to door EasyRide is available for appointments shopping errands or social activities Transportation is provided in and out of town using agency owned vehicles buses accessible vans and caravans as well as taxis and volunteers in their own vehicles The service is available 7 days a week Booking hours are Monday to Friday from 8 30 a m to 4 p m For more information on costs and to book your ride call EasyRide at 519 272 9875 or toll free at 1 877 500 9875 Last year ONE CARE provided transportation to 1 900 clients and 62 000 trips per year An additional 20 000 trips are scheduled for partner agencies across Perth County EasyRide is fabulous The Transportation Coordinators and drivers are wonderful This has been a very positive experience EasyRide is available for registered clients as well as for clients who are without access to transportation or where public transportation is not available have physical or cognitive limitations require specialized transit i e wheelchair access do not have family and friends who are able to help out Eligibility criteria apply Your transportation may be provided by volunteer drivers wheelchair accessible vehicles vans cars and taxis If a client requires Volunteer Transportation advanced notice is required to book a driver To book your EasyRide we will need Your name Date of trip The time you want to be picked up The time you want to return if return time is unknown we can arrange for you to call when you would like it Exact pick up and drop off addresses Whether you have an attendant What mobility devices if any you use For your trip please remember Book one day ahead Same day bookings may be accommodated when possible
