    others including frames centre focus It s worth checking out both these apps the cost is nominal Once I d achieved a look on the iphone I imported to iphoto These images were then opened up in DxO Film pack 3 which enables you to apply an analog look to your digital files This is a much more expensive programme but there are lots of options including vignetting which can be useful You can try a free trial for 30 days downloadable from the DxO site Some of the film types work great for interiors give a very nice look Anyway I ve just fooled around with these images to apply different techniques to demonstrate the applications Interesting Presentation Centre 2 years 10 months ago Posted in Blog Photography A couple of weeks ago I photographed a presentation centre constructed inside a tent You can see from the exterior it was quite a large structure Had to be because it accommodated a display suite full size floor plan reception meeting model rooms The neat thing about the floor plan displays was that they were projected onto the floor from a bank of projectors fixed to a track system suspended above

    a civil engineer in the UK but my love of photography led me to switch professions in 1984 I specialized in architectural photography from day one Favourite place in the city Granville Island I have lots of fond memories of Granville Island it s where I met my wife and spent many Saturdays with my two boys when they were younger We spent hours at Kids Market and ate lots of perogies and apple cranberry muffins the best Best way to spend a Saturday in the city We live just off of Main Street and hanging out there in the morning is great In the morning head for coffee at Bean Around The World pastries at Liberty Bakery browse the stores heading towards 28th and then top it off with lunch at Solly s In the afternoon walk over to Cambie Street and catch the Canada Line downtown and visit the Vancouver Art Gallery It s worth cycling along the seawall as well head down Ontario Street and then take the seawall all of the way to Vanier Park In the evening take in a concert at the Vogue Theatre on Granville Street The big plus is that you don t need a car for any of this Favourite Vancouver event My favourite annual event is the East Side Culture Crawl which is happening in November of this year The crawl includes lots of wonderful artist studios that are open to the public for the whole weekend There is always tons of great work and this a must see Top insider tip for visitors Head to Deep Cove in the morning grab a coffee in the village and then go for a hike on the Baden Powell Trail up to the large rock outcrop that overlooks Deep Cove this a
