  • official HBA Admission Offer package All awards are applied directly to the student s tuition account and are valid for as long as the student is registered full time in the HBA Program Bursary Assistance for Ivey HBA Students Bursaries are non repayable grants based purely on financial need Bursaries come from a special set aside fund provided by Ivey HBA students who are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents can apply for bursary assistance through Western in both HBA1 and HBA2 The bursary application takes into consideration the actual tuition costs of the HBA Program Approximately 30 of students who are ineligible for student government loans such as OSAP or BCSAP are eligible for bursaries Ivey provided 1 7 million in bursary assistance last year to students with financial need with an average bursary amount of 5 400 These bursaries are all administered by Western s Registrar s Office External Scholarships Ivey HBA students have top of the class academic records from more than 20 different academic programs In addition Ivey HBA s have demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities through inspiring commitments to their communities exceptional communication abilities and impressive international experiences This combination of academic achievement and a strong extracurricular profile makes applicants to the Ivey HBA Program very competitive for all sorts of external scholarship opportunities We encourage all students to check www studentawards com www iefa org and www ScholarshipsCanada com These sites list numerous awards and one of them may be just right for you The Ivey Financial Aid office will communicate external scholarship opportunities to current Ivey AEO and HBA students primarily through the AEO and HBA student association newsletters Student Government Loans A student government loan is a wise choice for funding your education There are no interest or principal payments during your studies
