Canada and for his work with the aboriginal community he was given the highest honour of an Eagle Feather Glen was born in Montreal where he earned a diploma from John Abbott College He then attended Executive Director Canadian Water and Wastewater Association Robert Haller is the executive director of the Canadian Water and Wastewater Association He started with the CWWA in May of 2012 after 20 years as a senior municipal administrator where he oversaw several infrastructure projects including a new wastewater treatment facility Robert holds a BA in Geography from Carleton University and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Western Ontario where his work focused on water policy following the Walkerton tragedy Robert has served on the Source Protection Working Group for the St Lawrence River and has served on the Municipal Advisory Panel to the Ontario Clean Water Agency He feels his work as a municipal town manager has made him a jack of all trades when it comes to municipal government and provides him the credentials to speak on behalf of municipal utilities across Canada Back to top Paulien Hartog Strategic Advisor for Water Region of Amsterdam Paulien has 15 year experience in linking water challenges flooding groundwater stormwater sanitation waterinfrastructure to urban planning and management As a strategist at Waternet the public watercycle organization of the Amsterdam region run by the City of Amsterdam and the regional water authority she is specialized in urban adaptation to climate change and water governance and participates in several national and international networks She is an experienced speaker at international conferences on these subjects At this moment she represents Amsterdam as an expert of water and climate change adaptation in international cooperation with partner cities worldwide and she is part of the Amsterdam Rainproof team which is building an open city platform in which municipal authorities engineering consulting firm HydraTek Associates Inc Bryan has over 30 years of experience in hydraulic consulting services and has worked on a wide range of fluid systems including water wastewater water quality challenges within the context of MSDGC s Consent Decree MaryLynn has led MSDGC s Communities of the Future initiative since May 2009 this context sensitive approach explores the potential to link CSO solutions with community revitalization for an enhanced triple bottom line for the community Prior to joining MSDGC in June 2010 MaryLynn worked as a consultant in the water wastewater and watershed management field She also worked for the Butler County Ohio Department of Environmental Services for 12 years five as head of the Environmental Division overseeing industrial
